What a GREAT find!!!!!!. While visiting downtown Sarasota, my friend suggested Fresh Start Caf. I had soup and 1/2 sandwich. the borscht was the most amazing taste treat!!!!!!! Sandwich was fresh and beautifully presented and fresh. Wait staff extremely friendly and well versed in the offerings.I cannot stop raving about the borscht.Ailene from Punta Gorda
Fresh start. This is a cute little place in downtown Sarasota. I had a traditional style breakfast, eggs, pancakes, bacon, fruit and a mimosa but they have many other options for the health conscious. The pancakes had a touch of cinnamon that made them the star for me, the fruit was fresh, the bacon wasn’t over cooked and the mimosa was refreshing! I have also had their pumpkin muffin which was absolutely fantastic. If you want a nice, quite, relaxing meal where you can sit outside (or inside) this is neat place.
