Creamy and Delicious Ice Cream. There are at least a half dozen places to get ice cream around St. Armand’s Circle. The place with a line of customers? Kilwins. They work at moving people through their place, and there is still a line. The popularity of Kilwins speaks loudly on how good they are. They have lots of ice cream flavor choices, and other items for sale. Standing in line is not all bad, you pass by counters of fudge and chocolates. I even saw chocolate in the shape of little alligators. If you are there at the right time you can even watch through the front window as they make their fudge. The ice cream is super delicious. A St. Armand’s traditionstop at Kilwins.
The ice cream is wonderful as is the chocolate. But the Peanut Brittle is the best Anywhere!
Best Fudge in the World. And its available from all the way in the UP of Michigan (ie Mackinac Island Fudge) to right here in Sarasota, FL.The smells are great, you can watch the Fudge chefs make the fudge and other delicasies while you wait, and the addition of Home Made Ice cream a few years ago now gives the Circle 5 Ice Cream Locations – But GO FOR THE FUDGE – No one else makes or sells it and its the Best for the price in the local area !
Smells heavenly. Just walking in the door makes you feel like you’ve already had dessert. It smells amazing!! I’ve had the truffles (just okay..), Easter eggs (not so good…), and ice cream (very good!). Overall I would recommend going here – just stick with the ice cream. 🙂
Excellent. Walking inside Kilwin’s is like entering chocolate heaven. You’re surrounded by it. There’s so many options to choose from and the store always has a crowd inside perusing the aisles. Last time I went there I had a cookies and cream milkshake and it was excellent! Rich and creamy, it was so filling there was just no way I could make it to the bottom of that shake. I was literally full for over a few hours from my shake. It doesn’t take long to get what you like and the workers are friendly and helpful in your quest to find the perfect chocolate treat. carloseats.com
Kilwin’s Chocolate and Ice Cream. Didn’t get chocolate, but thought we’d died and gone to chocolate heaven just by walking on the same side of the street. We did get ice cream, however, and really like to variety of flavors, some very different kinds. Reminded us of Mackinaw Island, MI with the fudge makers at the marble slabs.
