You can feel safe eating here. Situated inside the old Sarasota Courthouse, this is a small caf (3 tables and 3 high tops) where you can either pick up a pre-made item or have a sandwich made. They give you an order form where you can select what bread and filling you like and drop it off at the counter. I had a Ham & Cheese sandwich made. It was thick on sandwich bread and was a good lunch. They do not have a menu per se so I dont know the type of food they offer for breakfast. I saw a slice of quiche.The dcor of old photographs and architecture takes you back decades. While I was there for a late lunch several people came in for food and drinks. Most if not all worked for the government and many in Law Enforcement. Law & Order Caf is operated by Mortons Gourmet Market.
