An excellent visit. September, once school has started, is the slowest time of the year for restaurants in this area. There was plenty of parking at St Armands Circle and I pretty much had Lynches to myself when I stopped in today for lunch. That worked out particularly well for me, my experienced and very capable server was someone I knew from outside the restaurant business and we were able to get a little caught up.But enough about me, how was the visit? It was excellent. I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in. I had decided to try their Danny Boy, a corned beef sandwich with cheese and grilled onions. It was an average sized sandwich with a good amount of corned beef, and was very good. The sandwich came with a side, I picked fries. Service was friendly and excellent, and order to sandwich delivery was only about 6 minutes. The restaurant was well-maintained and they played Irish music, and I love Irish music. I have passed by Lynches dozens of time and know it can get busy, but today I had a nice relaxing lunch.
