Never A Bad Experience. I have been to meLange more times than I can count and I absolutely love it. I usually recommend it to anyone that asks me where they should go for dinner downtown. The menu is creative and changes ever few months which is great because I always love getting to try all their new menu items. There are of course personal favorites that I recommend to everyone (the rabbit tacos, quail, and the mussels to name just a few). Really nice and laid back staff and their kitchen is awesome to watch work from the food bar. Good times!!!
Wonderful Restaurant. Melange offers good food in an intimate atmosphere. The dishes available vary, but everything is always creative and unique. The focus is on taste and quality rather than huge portions like so many other restaurants nowadays. The service has not disappointed yet. Being located in downtown Sarasota is an added bonus.
My husband & I love this restaurant. We have been here 3 times over the past year. Every time was wonderful. It is the only place that we actually take our time to slowly eat and enjoy every bite of every course we order. Favorites are rabbit tacos, duck spring rolls, wontons, braised short ribs, and EVERY SINGLE DESSERT that LAN makes.
Melange = Awesome!. Melange is my very favorite restaurant!!! The menu uses locally grown items and presents them in combination with diverse ingredients. Where else can you get the amazing rabbit tacos or ginger soup. I don’t get to go as often as I would like but I have NEVER been disappointed. Chef Lan Bradeen always prepares a feast for the palate.
I love it! The menu, the concept (& it’s evolution), the staff & the ambiance. The proprietors take their restaurant very seriously, so much so that they’re aware of their limits. They prepare everything meticulously and with care. I come EVERY time I’m in SRQ & always will!
Exceptional Fine Dining. I highly recommend MLange to anyone who enjoys fine dining. This restaurant compares to all of the top restaurants I frequent in my hometown of Las Vegas. The food was exotic and exceptionally tasty, the service was exceptional, and the prices were reasonable. They even stock my favorite brand of beer, Kirin, which I have a hard time finding in most restaurants. This restaurant is on my must-visit list whenever Im in Sarasota.
As Good As It Gets!. The staff was wonderful and accomodating! I have dietary restrictions, and they were kind and gracious, helping me every step of the way. You can really tell that the employees care! Food and service both were great! (I’m glad they don’t allow parties over 8 – the space is small and cozy. Why would they allow a big loud table to affect the other diners? Great policy!)
