Bummed….. Selected this location due to pet friendly. Well first the service was less than desirable. Asked for a heater lamp, attitude of server and gentleman who turned it on was unsatisfactory. Pet friendly area was in front of band, unsatisfactory!! To top it off, the grouper was over cooked and very dry. Unfortunately we are one and done, pet or not.
Sloppy Crowd Ruined It. I chose to go to this place with my girlfriend and her grandparents for a nice dinner, but wow, I couldn’t have been more wrong. I didn’t realize this place was the Mecca for drunk divorced baby boomers trying to relive their past. You would have thought the cover band was actually a Grateful Dead reunion show, the way these sloppy idiots were acting. One drunk mess of a woman, who had to be in her mid-to-late 60s, was wearing a short cocktail dress and dancing like she was Miley Cyrus. I nearly lost my appetite. I can understand this sort of crowd later in the night, after dinner hours, but not at 7 p.m. The food was decent, but the atmosphere made it unbearable. I couldn’t even have a conversation with the people I was with because of how loud it was. If you have any bit of class, avoid this place. I sure won’t be back.
Great!. I had the Greek salad with grilled baby lamb chops and if every restaurant I went to served salads like this I would eat a lot more salads! My brother had a pizza that we all were envious of us as well, and my husband had a petit filet which he also very much enjoyed. Great outdoor dining ambience as well; would definitely recommend.
Fun seating outside but awful service and bad food
We gave this restaurant multiple attempts during our two wks on Sarasota. It was a must that we went because they offered free music every night, have to say the music was great along with the atmosphere but my god! The service was terrible, shocking how each night u can order just a drink or a dessert from the menu and u have to keep after ur server for ur order or to even get a server to the table, sad really. Food just okay, mediocre. Go for the free music skip the food!18 Jan, 2013Quality of food no where close to what they r charging. This place is trying to be something it’s not. Food had no flavor changes, had to take bites off of others plates because my mouth was getting board. Only one plus- sad to say its not the food its the live music! Save ur hard earned money, eat somewhere else and get ur after dinner drink here and enjoy the music. Another downer, the wait staff… needs work! Slow, rude and rarely at the table. Never offered refills or checked to see how our food was. at the table only 3 times. We had to ask for the check! Disappointing place.
Not high cuisine but good!. Not fancy, but mussels and clams well prepared, great broth. Monday specials of chorizo with tortillas and a second of steak tacos(with pineapple) were great as well. Service by Shawn (Sean) very helpful and friendly.
Used to be great. We visite…. Used to be great.We visited Sarasota this past Sunday having moved two years ago. We were really disappointed in the food quality. I think they are really focussing on bar and nightlife
