Extremely pleased. I was with a group of friends today for lunch at Michaels on East and had a most excellent time. Sure, a big reason I had such a good visit was because of the company, but Michaels certainly did their part. From service to food, this is an impressive place. The area where we sat was a little away from others so we could enjoy our conversations without concern we were sharing the restaurant with others. We liked the appearance of the place.Following drinks came the table bread. Three types of bread including a delicious raisin and large flat crispy, I dont know what they are called, items that were both good and to me, fun to eat.For my entre I selected their Michael’s Bowtie Pasta, one of their specialties. I was extremely pleased. The combination of ingredients including chicken and the very nice sauce made it obvious this was a well thought out dish. The plating of my and all the other dishes I saw, very appealing.Service did all the things you would expect well. We were not rushed, this was a relaxing enjoyable time. Still, things moved along nicely. There was never a time where I wondered where was our …You can spend some money for lunch, my bowtie pasta, one of the more expensive lunch items, and a soft drink ended up costing about $22 plus gratuity. I thought it was money well spent today. If you included real drinks and other food items like salads and desserts then sure, it would add up. Dinner? This should be a good special event place where you could spurge for what I hope would be a first class experience. Someday Ill have to try their dinner.
