I had the worst service I’ve ever had and after years of shopping at Morton’s.I’ve boughta cake for every month of the year for our staff Birthdays as well as for my own special occasions,and find myselfin a position of leaving them as a result. I have to be fair and say thatthe issue (both product and service) pertainedto the bakery, the manager and new pastry chef to be specific. However,when escalated to the general manager Scott he did not resolve the issue and instead took the side of staff that were performing an unnecessary butskilled cya when all I wanted was to highlight a problemin hopes of preventing it in the future. One bad cake would not have been enough to leave Morton’s, but the service and disrespect I received most definitely is…
We had the pleasure of Mortons Market catering my son and daughter in-law’s baby gender reveal party. I can say the event was a huge success from the delicious food to the competent staff. Patty Doty understood the vision I had for this special event and i can say with no hesitation that she went above and beyond what I imagined. Having lived in Sarasota for over 30 years and using many venues for parties i found Morton’s to be exceptional on all levels!!
