I have been waiting a while to check out this place when passing through downtown Sarasota after spending the day at the beach. Every time I happen to come here it has been later in the evening and they have been closed. This time I got done earlier than usual so I stopped in. Place looks nice inside plus it has outside seating. While waiting to place my order I noticed the pastries. They looked great. I went ahead and ordered a cappuccino and asked for a mug. The barista replied and said that we could no longer provide a mug since they were closing. I asked what time they closed and he said 5 PM. I looked at my watch and it was only 3:45 PM. I could see if it was 4:45 but oh well. I also ordered a muffin too. Once I received my drink I waited to see If I would get my muffin. Five minutes passed and still nothing. I asked the barista about the muffin and then he proceeded to give it to me. The muffin was great but the cappuccino was nothing special. The customer service was horrible so I won’t be back. Do yourself a favor and check out another cafe.
