Unexpected find. I happened to find this establishment by chance. I was staying at a nearby motel and as was without a car that evening was looking for a restaurant on foot. I spied this place after walking out of a nearby grocery store. Being from Kansas City, I could not resist my first taste of Florida BBQ. I walked in just before closing and was greeted by the owner. I decided on a 1/2 lb. brisket dinner plate with a double helping of mashed potatoes and gravy and a piece of cornbread. I tried three of the sauces (which were tomato based). The brisket was tender and flavorful and the sides were superb. On the way out I complimented the owner on the meal and told him it was some of the best BBQ I have experienced outside of Kansas City. This place is worth seeking out for sure.
