Hamburgers are pretty good but service and staffing very questionable. Got there after son’s soccer practice and after waiting 15 min in line waited 20 min for food. Have take out service though so will try next time and eat in.
Smack’s is everything a local place needs to be. Locally sourcing most products and using fresh vegetables and fruit from a nearby farm, it’s a change from huge corporate companies that only care about money. Healthy, great tasting, and quickly made, it’s one of my favorite places to eat. Some people think it is to expensive but they don’t realize these burgers are 100% grass fed with no added hormones or ridiculous ingredients. If you want to spend a few dollars less then go ahead and eat that junk you call fast food. I’ll pay a few extra bucks for real, great tasting food
Classy and Yummy!. Modern decor, tasty food, nice staff – what more could you want in a burger joint? Finally, I found a place to replace our fave, Cheeburger, Cheeburger, which recently closed after many years. I got a blue cheese burger and it was everything I’d hoped it would be. Juicy, huge, cheesy, nice soft roll. Truly loved it! I will be bringing my co-workers back!
A little underwhelmed. Recently opened, Ive been looking forward to stopping in. The opportunity came today and I took advantage of it, ordering a few items. I had a Smackburger and a NY Dog, and shared a garlic parmesan order of fries.The burger was pretty good, two patties with the usual toppings. It came in a little burger bag. The dog was split and came with spicy mustard and sauerkraut. I didnt expect the spicy type of mustard. The fries were the thick crinkle cut that seem to absorb so much oil. The burger and dog were not very large. There were plenty of fries.It is an order at the counter they bring the food to you kind of place. They have seating both inside and out. Our order taker was patient as we asked a bunch of questions. The order was delivered on a single tray, we missed not having some sort of plate or having our burgers wrapped in paper we could use to easily set the burgers down. We made little napkin tablecloths.I had read the place, at least the name, has a history in Sarasota, but I didnt see anything historical with the dcor. There may not have been any dcor at all. They did have a TV outside.

The Classic Mini burger was very tasty and priced well but the fries are extra which is too bad. Cool place to have a quick bite.
