This place serves a Torta, the Al La Mexicana. This is without a doubt the best sandwich I have ever had. This restaurant is truly the only Mexican restaurant I will ever enjoy again. Incredibly authentic. Not for the person seeking an Americanized version of anything. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. Bars on the windows and a giant old big screen tv usually playing some random movie in Spanish. Not exactly fine dining, but the food is the best I’ve ever had in a Mexican restaurant and I’ve been all over the country.
