Right on St. Armand’s Circle, Shore is hip, fresh, and fun. Sit at the bar and chat with the bartender, whether you’re there for a meal or a drink. The full menu is available wherever you sit and the food is good, if a bit pricey. safoodblog.com
Went to dinner after finding this gem of a restaurant in the St Armmands Circle. This restaurant is super nice and almost feel like fine dinning but the staff totally makes this a super comfortable restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service and attention was phenomenal. The hostess put my wife and 3 kids in a nice big table in the perfect space to have enough room for strollers. Our waitress was Terri. She is amazing. Took great care of our table. The food was fantastic. We had the lobster shrimp avocado egg salad…. Can’t say enough to describe this dish. We also orders the red snapper. Both were excellent choices. Prices were reasonable. I think both dishes were in the $20-$25 range. Terri mentioned they’ve been opened for 2 years and u can tell as the decor and tables were super nice. I highly recommend this place for first dates to family reunions to business lunch or dinners. The venue and location is perfect.
Fried oysters were amazing!
Great fried chicken. Awesome service. Must stop ion St Armand’s
AMAZING!. Great looking restaurant for on thing. But, went to lunch today, had the best sandwich I have ever had in my 67 years on earth. The lobster sandwich is amazing, had to be a whole lobster tail in it. It’s enough for two. Came with fries that were good. You have to try this sandwich.Art G.Bradenton, Fl
We liked the place. Located on the second floor above the Shore clothing store, the Shore restaurant offers an interesting selection of items. We liked the modern look. It is larger than I expected with seating both inside and out, and a nice bar area. Our server was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her about the restaurant, the food, and the area. The restaurant has been open about a year. She also did a good job with the whole taking orders, getting food and bringing the bill part of the job.As for the food, I had the Crystal Hot Sauce Fried Chicken, my wife The Shore Burger, a couple of the cheaper items on the dinner menu. Mine was misnamed to the extent it was not spicy at all. If I understood correctly, the chicken sat in a brine for a day before being deep fried when ordered. I found the result of all that effort difficult to notice, but I confess to pulling off much of the crunchy coating. The piece I noticed it the most was the leg, where I did not pull anything off. A container of sauce that came with my chicken definitely improved what otherwise seemed like just fried chicken. My wifes burger had a bacon jam. I sampled and found it sweet like a BBQ sauce. It was ok. We really liked the fries, cooked with some truffle oil. All in all we were happy we tried the Shore Diner.
Reservations. As another reviewer said, its not when you want to eat, it’s when they want you to come. Stay away unless you get the dining time that you want.
