The atmosphere was nice. The cheese, meat and fruit board is delicious and the calamari is okay… but the pizza is just awful. How do you screw up pizza? It’s soggy and doesn’t actually have much taste – just the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten (which is saying a lot). The volcano starter is great, when they actually serve it warm (which is hit or miss). The wine is overpriced and the pear mojito barely tastes like mint or pear… tastes like water downed rum. Come to think of it, there wasn’t much good about this place. Our server didn’t seem too interested in us – drinks took way too long and when we complained about the taste of things, she basically told us we were wrong.
We had a very very bad experience there last night. The manager was very rudely to us. She should not be working in the service industry with a bad attitude. We will not be going back to this restaurant as long as she is a manager there!
