Great food at a great price. Located near the airport, where good restaurants are few and far between. The menu is brief, but full of favorites for breakfast and lunch. Daily specials are just that and add variety that will keep you coming back. Specializing in fresh local ingredients whenever possible puts them ahead of most brunch places.

A Delightful visit. I stopped in for breakfast today to check out the Sunnyside Caf, located on the North Trail up towards the airport at the former location of the SRQ Grill. Im very glad I did. They have only been open a few weeks and while their menu is a bit limited, they do have eggs, benedicts, omelets and griddle items, plenty for me to select from. I decided on The Brave One, an omelet with a spicy flair. I wasnt so brave and got it without jalapenos, still the salsa added a bit of cool warmth to a delicious dish. My side of potato pancake was also very good. I cleaned my plate. My server was an absolute delight. She was a friendly person who would brighten the day of anyone she met. At a little after 7 this morning it was a great start to my day. I liked the setup of the restaurant where the cooking is all done out front, and the little attention to detail things made it a welcoming place. Large windows provided a nice view of the outside world. A word of note, the windows are tinted which is great from the inside but does give the place a darker look from the outside where you may question if they are open. They open at 7, come on in. You will be pleased with your decision.
