Nice location. I stopped in for lunch today. This is a pretty standard pizza place with several by the slice choices. They also have many Italian dishes but I was all set for pizza. I had two slices, a sausage and pepperoni that I liked and a white pizza that was not as good. Two slices and a large drink came to $12.75. Seemed reasonable to me given the location, but you can be the judge on cost.As to the location, Taste of Italy is just off the St Armands Circle itself on the road leading in from Lido beach. They have a few seats outside and more inside. It is very convenient for the eating part of strolling and eating and shopping and ice cream. It is an order at the counter kind of place, at least for lunch.
Food was ok, not 10$ which was not bad for a medium pizza I could not finish. Server was very polite, but the wait was terrible. 30 mins to serve the party of 5 we had, and then another 20 mInutes for my meal. That was very unacceptable.
I think it’s pretty good, but mind you the prices are pretty high due to the location (tourist trap) if u don’t mind spending close to 10 bucks for a slice no toppings! and a coke! You will do just fine
