Go, But Not for the Food or Drinks. They have a cute outdoor patio, seating downstairs, an adorable loft upstairs with board games, books, and a miniature foosball table. There’s volleyball on Tuesday night at 8, comedy nights, music, art, etc. The lady there was super nice, but we ordered the roast beef and cheddar on a brioche and after 15 minutes (there was only one other customer after us who ordered a coffee) we received what seemed like a ham and cheddar on brioche. A few minutes later she wiped the roast beef sandwich off the chalkboard. Apparently they were out and she just decided to give us ham without saying anything. Bizarre. Upon further smelling and tarting and inspection, I half convinced myself that it was some very weird roast beef or some peppercorn ham. Either way, just lunch meat. The pastries were sparse and looked like they were shipped in from WalMart or some such. Don’t eat here. My americano was a 4/10, very bland, not even as good as Starbucks. oversharielle.com

I like my coffee cold and the result still retained its creaminesstook a while to feel watered down. The flavored coffees are described well because you can taste each individual flavor added.AMBIANCEIts like youre entering a house from the outside. Inside the environment welcomes studying and laptop working. Upstairs spawns conversation especially through a small stage in the back. Theres something about second floors that make people want to gaze outside the windowunfortunately the view is just a busy road.SERVICEThe servers are willing and innocently helpfulalthough we heard them squeal once they didnt know how to make my drink to each other.
The Coffee Loft has become my go-to spot in Sarasota! The atmosphere is cool and casual so it’s a great spot to come and study or just talk with friends. The staff is also incredibly knowledgable and helpful in explaining the new flavors they feature each day. Make sure to check out their Chocolate Hazlenut roast!
