It seems that the reviews here describe another restaurant. They don’t have all the item mentioned in other reviews. This place sucks, the food is cold and stale. How do you mess up Tabouli when you are Lebanese? The falafels had to be microwaved and still took forever.
Horrible. Service is terrible, not friendly. Can hear people yelling in the kitchen. Baked goods on display all day for people to touch/sneeze in. Gross. I’m pretty sure they have no clue how to treat guests and the food was not worth sitting through the feeling that we were not welcome. Never going back there
An unusual and very good sandwich. I stopped in today for lunch and tried the Blackened Basa Reuben, influenced by the dineSarasota Pot Luck blog. It was an excellent choice and sandwich. I did not notice any blackened flavor but the sandwich had plenty of good flavors for me. Basa, being a fish, is obviously more delicate both in taste and texture than a pile of pastrami. Just to be clear this sandwich does not have any pastrami. After one bite I realized if I ate this sandwich like I was ripping apart pastrami Id make a mess, so a more refined approach was needed. Great sandwich. Service was ok, nothing exceptional but not bad. When I asked the server what was the side of the day I was told coleslaw, but it arrived as a small bowtie pasta salad. My diet coke arrived in a can with a glass. I personally prefer fountain drinks where I can get free refills. The room itself was fine, space for well over a dozen tables and specials written on chalkboards. They put brown paper over the tablecloths. Unless someone full of energy runs up, writes their name upside down and gives me a box of crayons, I feel using brown paper really cheapens a place. Parking can be a problem.
