Very over rated eating place.. Never order their French fries.. we were there yesterday and were given a white, limp soggy, cold looking plate of fires ( we especially asked for hot fresh out of the oil fries!! no chance) . The cheese philly was dry and almost too stoggy to eat… much of it was left on the plate SOOOOO disappointing …/ my BLT was ordinary and I felt overpriced at over $11+ … we will never visit The Toasted Mango ever again.Renee Vickery and senior friend .. http://www.ren-ahchineseart.com
Great place to eat, expect a 10-15 min wait (this place stays busy)! The homemade biscuits are huge, but worth the treat. Great servers, the hostess is not the friendliest (but the other staff outshine this minor downfall). Definitely a place to visit, when in Sarasota!
Super Clean! Fast service, really nice people. Food is awesome, and fresh.
The waffles were great, fresh fruit, French toast was awesome. The homemade mango butter was great also. Fast service
This is a nice local place. Good food, fast service, reasonable prices. The yogurt banana split was drlicious with very fresh ripe fruit and house made granola. Pancakes and waffles were fine – standard stuff. The coffee will please coffee snobs (like me) as it is darker and richer than most places like this. This is a nice breakfast joint and it’s not a chain. Support the locals and get better food & service for less $$$.
Fast service in a snap. We arrived close to closing time and they invited us in and made us feel very welcome. The food was great! Mango bean salad was to die for! Clean, cute, quaint place. The prices were affordable and the portions were big. Service was great and down to earth! Girls from KY love ya…see ya next year
Good breakfast – eggs are outstanding – be sure to try their hot sauce ( a bit sweet but good) – sliced mangos perfectly ripened – Belgian waffle was too crispy (over cooked) and lukewarm (may have been sitting in the back) – toasted coconut on top of waffle was not toasted (or taken out of the oven early) – overall would try again.
