A surprisingly busy lunch stop. I cut through the mall on the way to Toojays. There were few shoppers on this Tuesday around noon, so I was quite surprised when I arrived at Toojays and had to wait a few minutes for a table. The place is not small and it was quite busy. Busy places are often good places.Greetings and service were typical, no complaints. As for the food, they have a pretty extensive menu. I noticed on a sign out front the Reuben was a featured sandwich, so that was what I had. It came with a large pile of thick cut fries. While I wasnt too interested in the fries, the sandwich was a different story entirely. The Reuben was constructed by rolling up the corned beef and sauerkraut. There was plenty of meat and it had a really neat look. On the downside it makes it difficult to spread the big lump of filling in the middle out to the edges of the bread, but it looked really cool and truthfully it pretty much filled up the sandwich anyway. I should also mention it was delicious.
