This restaurant more than any in Sarasota reminds me of the intimate high quality settings of restaurants on the Tokyo Ginza. No rush here. Just good food and service at a reasonable price. This is a place to enjoy eating your favorites in Japanese American style.
Have eaten sushi at many Sarasota restaurants. Sushi at Utamaro definitely my favorite. Consistently superlative. Cooked food also very good. A treat.
It takes way too long. We had to wait over an hour
Their food is always fresh, tasty and unique. The Chilean sea bass is awesome and the ginger salad is great especially because the dressing is delicious and is served with romaine instead of iceberg. Definitely worth trying.
We ordered a large variety of sushi and every thing was great. I personally loved the love roll and rainbow roll. Will be going back soon
Great lunch deals comes with meat, rice, miso soup and Ginger salad for like 8.99. Dinner menu is double the price for same thing. Sushi roll prices stay the same all day. Haven’t had anything bad yet! Always great service, the waitresses are nice and always on top of everything.
