I used to be a regular, but recently they have hired new staff and the food has been horrible. The chef only does part of the cooking, the servers who prepare for your food are not properly trained. It’s either your side dish is missing or they add too much oil / salt in the overcooked noodle, with uncooked beef and pork. Disgusting! I talked to the owner but she doesn’t seem to care. Oh well…
They just changed owners…probably wasn’t the best move…more than half of my dish was cold and the soup was WAY to salty. I used to love going there, but now I never want to go back.
Bambu a winner!!. Without having to take the long plane ride across the pacific to Vietnam, or driving all the way down to Colonial Ave., the Bambu has once again exceeded our expectations for a true Vietnamese dining experience. The food, the staff are simply wonderful!!!
I must say, I was hesitant to enter based on the reviews and when I got to the door there was a help wanted sign on it. The sign advertised they needed help there pretty much every position in the restaurant but I went in anyways. The owner or manager was so attentive and my food came out quickly and was delicious I’m actually going back tonight to pick up some Togo food. The spring rolls were the best I ever had and the beef broth was so savory!
The worst service and Vietnamese food I have experienced. Was expecting a lot better but was disappointed. I waited 40 mins for fried rice that tasted terrible.
I was looking forward to have a Pho place near, don’t have to go to Colonial; but I’m afraid it does not compare to them. Pho was OK, but no selection. No vegetarian dishes and the fried rice was a joke.
