Chicken Salad is GO!. O.k., the reviews that say this place is a little pricey are kind of right and kind of wrong. You can find something good here on a budget. There are just lots of good things to get while you’re here and I found myself wanting to get a bit of everything in the case, which (of course) can add up if you’re not watching. On top of that, it’s not cheapo Walmart deli fare, it’s real deal, fresh, and flavorful food. And, the Chicken Salad sandwich is a monster attraction; second to none. There are many different types and the sandwich and side deal is very affordable, especially for a quick and delicious lunch. Just check it out, you’ll be happy.
WOW, Worth the drive for us. Love the Buffalo Chicken salad. All the chicken salads are good. We have also had great sandwiches and take home prepared gourmet dinners. Just wish they where in Lake Mary.
Great food but very pricey!. This is obviously a gourmet deli so you will pay for it, but it’s worth it for a once in a while treat! Bernie and his staff are very nice and welcoming! The menu changes because he makes different things all the time, but his chicken salads are a big hit, especially the buffalo chicken salad. He also makes great chili and soups in the winter time and great desserts that he purchases from local bakeries!It’s expensive, so it’s not a place to have lunch everyday, but everybody should treat themselves to Bernie’s every once in a while.

Bernie’s gourmet has the best quality food and at a great price. Bernie always greets his customers with a friendly hello and thanks all of his customers for coming in. I highly reccomend this place!!!!22 Oct, 2011The best food ever!!!!. I visited Bernie’s Gourmet to Go from a friend,so I decided to stop in for myself. The choice and quality of food was undeniable, clean, fresh and simply the best food I’ve had in quite sometime! I enjoyed a delicious chicken salad sandwich – a sandwich that was so delicious, I had to take home all of the verities of chicken salad that I could carry! In addition, the desert are outstanding and are ever changing, I will be back for those halloween sugar cookies they promised me! Great personalble staff to boot!

With not much due respect to ‘kamaday’ who previously wrote a scathing review of Bernie’s….Before taking those comments seriously, please read the additional reviews on this and other sites.Bernie’s has an impeccable reputation and takes great care for what folks think and knows many of his customers by name when they arrive. Bernie’s offers delicious food, excellent service and a quaint atmosphere. What better could we do than support a locally owned and operated business whose loyal following (including me) is an obvious indication of quality?
