First, I think the cleanliness of the store and the demeanor of the staff is as important as the food. The cafe was spotless and all of the staff were very cordial and helpful. The waiter explained the menu to me in detail to help with my selection. Essentially, this is a coffee bar with a cafe included. Coffee being their forte, it was extremely high quality. But surprisingly the food was really good. I ordered the Peri Peri chicken skewers with sweet potato fries. They were excellent! I also had a decaf coffee and it was incredible. I recommend if in the area.
Great place for breakfast. If you want to avoid the chaos of peach valley this should be your new found friend. Different options from rib eye omelets to chocolate pancakes covers everyone in my house.
Lovely restaurant in a pleasant area.There were five of us and all chose the bacon cheeseburger – good gourmet burger, definitely up there with the best of them.3.5 because menu prices were a little more than should be, and 18% gratuity on the bill?? Not sure if that’s the American thing, but gratuity should be at the discretion of the patron.
Better change the staff. I come here because we live close., the breakfast and desserts are great and prepared to perfection., lunch not so much. The staff is rude and extremely slow to say the least. At lunch I don’t have time to spend 1 hr waiting for the food and the wiatress never came back to refill my water or asked if we needed anything. I have tried this place several times at different times, but if this place wants to stay open, I suggest to look into the staff. Dexter’s next door is certainly much better.
Menu looked interesting however we left before ordering after noticing dirty silverware.
Bad! Stay away! Went for half off dinner last Tuesday. Service was sooo slow…there for 2.25 hours! Bait and nothing on the menu! No lamb, no ribeye which constituted 50-60% of the menu. Filet came out raw…not medium rare. Other items we had were poor at best. A huge disappointment, but our bad for going to a glorified coffee shop for dinner! PS this visit was under the NEW management.
Dope restaurant. Sriracha shrimp.enough said.
