Headed for failure! My food was very good, however, it took walking out to get service. Even considering the bad standard of service in this area, the service here was horrible.
The location and atmosphere are great, and the service is always phenomenal. It’s great to spend the day by the pool listening to music and enjoying a cold beer or cocktail. I have only had the peel and eat shrimp which were great… Overall is a really fun place to go!
Take it from a sous chef. Good parts, nice decor, clean, friendly and attentive staff, great beer prices, good gator. After that, the fish and chips were greasy, the crab cakes had actual crab in them but not the greatest. the gator was under seasoned but it was not chewy and tasted ok other than that. They say they have a new menu soon, i will wait until then to pass further judgement. I want to love this place for the location and ambiance, but they additionally had no crawdads, as the name would suggest. Hope they put some on the new menu and maybe get new cooks or chef.
