Haven’t eaten here in a long while but the new owners have taken the service and food to the next level. Had lunch with out of town guest and we all really enjoyed everything. Swamp cabbage was the bomb. Chicken wings moist yet very crispy and seasoned perfect. Gator cooked and seasoned very well as well. Home made chips add a nice touch to any sandwich or burger. Don’t miss out on this truly real Florida experience on the St. John’s river. Great view … Great service … Great atmosphere.

If you are looking for laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and great view of the St. John’s River, look no further! We ordered gator tail appetizer, shrimp basket and frog leg basket and it was all fabulous. The food was made to order so it was hot out of the frier/oven in large portions. The obviously homemade corn fritters were some of the best I have had with a perfect blend of salty sweet and perfectly crunchy outside with soft yummy inside. The gator tail was perfectly made, the batter was just enough and the dipping sauce was delicious. The frog legs were huge and really just fell off the bones – awesome! Best part is washing it all down with a cold beer that only cost $2.50 per bottle…yes I said $2.50 not $7.00 which is what most places charge today. We will be back for sure!!! Thanks

Ordered the catfish filets and grouper sandwich. I’ve eaten a lot of Florida seafood but this was barely edible. The catfish was mushy with a strong taste. The grouper was better but still not great. Hope it was just a bad batch.

We always saw this place when we travel from the coast to Sanford and decided to finally give it a try. The swamp cabbage we had for an appetizer was delicious and then the fried gator platter was an excellent main course. My wife had the frog legs and licked the bones clean. We will definitely come back.

Good place. Live around corner so here fairly often. Put some effort into the food 2 yrs ago. The burgers poppers n gator are always very tasty. New owners now look to b putting a little money in the place. Hopefully the food quality stays or goes even higher. It what it is though good place to have some eats after day on the water. Dog friendly too enjoy taking dog for a swim here after chasing birds.
