We stopped at Fitzpatricks last night before a movie and had a very good dining experience. My husband had the fish and chips and a cup of French onion soup. He said they both were very good. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was excellent as well. Our server was very nice and our food came out quickly. Overall, it was a great experience.
This is a good place to watch soccer. I would give it a higher rating but the food quality has declined over the years (possibly new management) and it seems to be less crowded here as a result. Te dueling pianos are not that great unfortunately but they do have other bands here that are. I would recommend this as a bar food type place now more so than a quality restaurant as it used to be. Still has a great atmosphere reminiscent of Fados in Atlanta but much smaller.
Superb quality. We were going to go to Dexters but fond this gem. Nice ambiance. Nice service live the Reuben sandwich and fish and chips. The Shepard pie was very satisfying. We wil be back. Thanks Logan for a great service.

She had a Rueben sandwich while I had a bowl of potato soup and a hot pastrami sandwich with ground mustard. We each had perfectly drawn Guiness Drafts (I had 2).The food was very good, the service was excellent and the ambience was that of an Irish pub.We stopped by on a Monday evening and it was not crowded.I’ll try it again the next time I’m in town.
Poor service. From the hosts to the server, really bad. Not customer focused.
Irish food that wasn’t. They just don’t know what good mashed potatoes are and they certainly don’t know what pork sausage really is. Going to an Irish pub you would think they would know how to prepare Irish food. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant with no flavor and absolutely no texture to them. The sausages were very small and tasted like baloney instead of pork sausage. This was the most awful meal I have ever had at a restaurant. I do have to say my wife had the fish and chips and that was very good. I am willing to give it one more try before I scratch it off my list.
Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day was a blast…. My family was staying at the Westin across from the Colonial Town Park complex. We were looking for something light to eat, since we were going to a Night Hike at the Central Florida Zoo. On our way, we noticed the beer stands, extensive outdoor seating, and wait staff dressed in festive St. Patrick’s Day costume; and, then realized that 9/15 is half-way to St. Patrick’s Day! As such, we felt that we had to go in.The staff was very friendly; and, very upbeat. They were very accommodating to our daughter, who is a very picky eater. And, we got front-row seats for the show (the manager was courteous enough to warn us it would be loud!) The service was very quick and very attentive, drinks were refilled quickly; and, dirty dishes were removed as necessary.During our meal, we were treated to the sounds of the Orlando Pipe and Drum Corp. They were followed by a small troupe of Irish Dancers. We were having so much fun, we didn’t want to leave. Dinner was the Oak Smoked Salmon Salad, which my wife enjoyed very much; and, I had the Shepard’s Pie (which being ground beef was actually cottage pie, as Gordon Ramsay would point out!) Whichever, cottage or shepard, it was very tasty; full of delicious vegetables, meat, and topped with potatoes… I know it’s not traditional; but, I asked for it to be topped with melted cheddar cheese, which they provided. For startes I had the St. James Gate Onion Soup, which was very rich and infused with Guiness; and, my wife had the Roasted Garlic Potato Soup – a mini-meal in itself! We agreed that returning just for the soup would make the trip worthwhile. For dessert, we split an order of the Bread & Butter Pudding. It was dense and firm; and, very tasty. We had the pleasure of sampling this dish in Savannah at the Six Pence Pub; and, it would be a toss-up to choose between the two.
