The food went down hill. I have been going to this restaurant for about 1 year in the beginning the food was great now about the last 4 times going back the food sucks !!!!! THE OWNER ISENT THERE TO MUCH ANYMORE AND HIS SON WAS FIRED BAD MOVE.
Rude Service & over priced!. Everything is market price. Hardly any prices on the menu, even for drinks, wine. We were over charged for a dinner that was not market price and the rude lady (owner) came rushing out to inform us the price in the computer was correct even though the waiter agreed it was not correct. She was so rude!!! We will never go back. this was our 2nd visit, first visit was rude service too. the food is over priced for the type of restaurant, not worth it. I can pay the same price and go to Bonefish and get good service and a nice atmosphere.
Very disappointed. I went after hearing it was good. only one other place to get real fried clams, so since boston’s in sanford closed i was hoping it would be good. when fried clams are cooked properly, they are not greasy. These were greasy and just gross. My wife had the platter with shrimp haddock and clam strips and her stomach was rumbling all night. Next time I ‘ll drive to winter park when I want new england style fried seafood.
Terrible service, poor attitude. The server was very unhelpful and tried to charge us extra for items on the menu that came with our entrees. He also was dismissive when we were trying to get our order correct. The fish was very good, but the chips were the frozen kind you can buy at walmart. Definitely not traditional fish n chips. Would not return there. Also kinda expensive.
Love this place!. We’re from Maryland originally and know our seafood. This is one of the best fish restaurants we’ve ever been to (and we dine out a lot). My family has been eating at Ray’s F&C Seafood for several months now, at least twice a month and sometimes more. The fish and seafood are always fresh. Fried fish and shrimp has no grease, none, nada! I don’t know how Chef Ray does it. Service for us has always been extremely cordial. Chef Ray or his wife always come out to say hello and make sure that our order is correct and cooked to perfection.The atmosphere is small and intimate. Nothing fancy, just good food served at reasonable prices for excellent quality. We’re satisfied customers.
Very Bad Attitude. Owner and his wife had very bad attitude..not going again for sure..
