Good tasting McClains Ice Cream. The Red Barn is a huge Flea Market in Bradenton where US41 and US301 meet. When I say huge, that is an understatement. This is a very popular place with hundreds of vendors in the plaza and a large produce area in the market area. With all those people there must be food, and there are several places where you can pick up some cheap eats. Located in the plaza area, Debs Dairy Delights is one of those places.While my wife shopped I stopped at Debs for an ice cream cone. They have several flavors of the local McClains Ice Cream as well as other County Fair style items, advertised with neon lights. There is also some seating, although scoring an available seat proved to be difficult. I was greeted with a friendly smile and was pleased with my choice of Butter Pecan.The Red Barn has a large parking area but it is also busy, so that can make it a little challenging. Finding the entrance to The Red Barn can also be a little challenging, best to get there by heading north on US41. If you go north on US301 you will end up going past and needing to do a couple of U-turns. It is a very interesting place and Debs and the other food stops are waiting to keep you fueled.
