Noreen’s STILL a Hidden Gem. I’ve been all over the world (21 Years Military) and have eaten some of the best food imaginable… The Godfather at Noreen’s easily holds its own as it is an outstanding and phenomenal sandwich! Places like Subway and Jersey Mike’s don’t even come close to this sandwich. Get it with everything, including the vinaigrette.The Godmother aint bad either.
This is a little deli that’s inside a convenience store. It’s been around for about 20 something years. The sandwich that put this place on the map is called the ‘Godfather’. It’s made with mounds of thin-sliced deliham, salami, shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, and pepperoncinis, all on a soft hoagie sub. It’s this places claim to fame and it’s delicious. They also have a pretty tasty salad bar and hot boiled peanuts. There’s a few tables if you wanna sit down and eat, but most people just take it to go. The deli ladies are always arguing with the middle eastern owners and the clientele are kinda ghetto, but the food makes the ocassional drama worth it.
