Pretty good. I visited for lunch today and had a lunch special that consisted of a Cuban sandwich, fries, and a can of Coke, all for only $5.99. Ive had better Cuban sandwiches but when you think about the cost, and the fact it is a restaurant with table service and not a fast food place, it was pretty good value for the money.Looking over the menu showed my lunch was not very representative of what Sabor Latino offers anyway. Primarily a Columbian restaurant, they offer quite a few Latin dishes in the $10-15 range. I think that is where you will find what Sabor Latino is all about, good or bad.

Unfortunately Bad. Was craving mofongo, found this place online. Drove awhile to get there, excited by online menu. Ordered the chicken mofongo, was not at all what I was expecting. The chicken was grilled chicken served separately, which turned out to be a good thing because it was edible. The mofongo itself was a large lump of dry and tasteless blah, with pieces of all sorts of things in it–pork cracklings, corn, etc. It was like the consistency of almost hardened Play-Doh without the salty taste. I tried to use the salsa-like sauce that was on the table to make it better, but every time I tried to eat it I wanted to gag. Ate some of the chicken, which was very salty, because I was pretty hungry but I really just wanted to get up and leave the whole thing sitting there. I’m not overly critical when it comes to restaurants, because I understand that sometimes there’s an off encounter, but I will not return for another try.

OUT OF THIS WORLD LATIN FOOD. I took my wife, who is Panamainian and she loved it. She said it’s food like this that makes her home sick. All the food was flavorful, well made, quality food and authentic. I had the Bandeja Paisa. Incredible, It consisted of a small pork steak, a chorizo sausage a fried pork rind with meat, rice, beans and saweet plantains. I passed on the egg on top. ONLY $9.95. Each bite was better than the last. Tastes, I thought you would get only in that country. The menu was in both english and spanish and the waitress, Jenny, spoke perfect english and spanish. My beer of chice was a Presidente $3.50. Bud was $2.50. EXCELLENT MEAL ALL THE WAY AROUND, PRICES, QUANTITY AND QUALITY. A REAL SLICE OF HEAVEN. YOU REALLY OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO TRY IT.
