So Fantastic. What a fabulous find!! Hubby and I were looking for some Korean food and read the reviews and thought we’ll give it a try. We went Sat the 16th and if they were open on Sundays we would’ve gone back again. We started with the meat and veg goyza both were good but we all like the meat goyza better. Our daughter had a bowl of wonton soup and it wasn’t your typical over salty broth with no veg… the wontons were light and yummy and there was a mix of veggies in the broth. We ordered a teka roll and the fish was fresh and delish. I had the BiBimBab and it was perfect. Hubby had the pork bul-go=ki which usually is tooooo spicy for me. NOT here…it had just enough heat and tons of flavor. The biggest surprise was our daughters dinner…sweet and sour chicken, we thought it would be the typical puffy chicken with the day-glow red sauce but NOOOO it was gently fried pieces of white meat chicken in a sauce that was a mix of pineapple and orange juices and it was just so fantastic. We will be back for SURE!!!
AWESOME! AWESOME!. We love their Korean food and sushi! We highly recommend them to everyone! Its a great place to eat!!!!
Delicious sushi and excellent customer service! I had the spicy tuna roll with cream cheese and it was awesome : ) Go there, you won’t be disappointed.
Oh my goodness!! We were so surprised by this hidden gem. It doesn’t look like much outside or inside but these rolls were to die for!! The service was awesome too. Definitely going back for the K Roll and the CS Roll.
This is one of the best Sushi restaurants. The special rolls were outstanding!!Try the K roll, grouper/tuna tempura roll, Buccaneers roll.I wish I can eat all those special rolls everyday !!The staffs are so friendly too. It was most delight visit.
Good Korean – in Bradenton!!!. What?! A KOREAN restaurant spotted in Bradenton?! And a half way decent one at that?! And it’s been thriving here for years?! And I didn’t know about it ’til my last week in the area?! Well smack my ass and call me Sally!!! Who woulda’ thunk it???This place in the Bayshore Gardens mega strip mall on US 41 is very inconspicuous. It’s billed as a sushi place but is run by Koreans and the menu runs about half & half Japanese/Korean with a few standard Chinese entries thrown in for your Grandma and Grandpa from New Brunswick, too. Can’t comment on the Chinese, and the sushi DID look pretty tempting, but this is the place to go if you’re in the area and are Jonesing for some good ‘ol Korean grub. When I went there for the first time I was pretty impressed.I had the Kimchee Ji-Gae. It was decent sized though light on the pork and definitely light on the hot stuff. It came out bubbling and boiling with large cubes of tofu and was certainly red enough, but tasted more like my mom’s stuffed cabbage than traditional Korean fare – except it was far less spicy than Mom’s stuffed cabbage! One of my friends had the Mandoo Soup, which she, a mandoo aficionado, pronounced as worthily orderable. The crowning glory of this place though was my other friend’s Dolsot Bimimbab. It was one of the best looking one of those I’d ever seen! Brimming with everything this dish is supposed to have and coronated with a lovely raw egg, I wanted to cold-cock him and steal his dinner, but it WAS his birthday so I refrained. You don’t BBQ at your table here, but the plates of Bulgogi and Kalbe I saw whizzing by smelled great and it looked like they give you a MAJOR pile. Sadly, only four different dishes of ban chan and no lettuce leaves though. No soju or OB offered either 🙁 but they do offer Asian branded (Canadian) and U.S. beers and wine, plus sake too. Anyhow, I’m just so glad and eternally grateful to have some Korean of ANY kind in this area. It IS freakin’ FL, for God’s sake. The service is friendly and efficient with lots of personality and the venue clean, comfortable and most thoughtfully appointed (read linen tablecloths, but not snootiness). I’ll sure be back, if not for a gigantic bowl of that Bimimbab!
