  Outstanding cheesesteak. I finally made it to South Philly today for lunch. I had wanted to make it up that way for some time, I have spent time in Philly and love a real cheesesteak. What I had today was a real cheesesteak.The bread is so important for an authentic cheesesteak so when outside the Philly area using bread from the Amoroso Bakery is almost a must, as South Philly uses. The menus are on the tables except I sat down at a table without a menu, so when my server asked what I wanted I told her a cheesesteak Wiz Wit. Points for knowing what I meant but they dont have Cheese Wiz. Truthfully to me the sandwich is just as good with white cheddar, which is what I had, but its fun to order wiz wit (the wit being with grilled onions).It tasted perfect, the cheese so hot you have to nibble at the sandwich while it cooled down a little. Just like ordering from a place in Center City. Of course, we are not in Philly. This restaurant is a little small, I counted 9 tables inside and 3 stools, a few more tables outside. It was busy and may be busier at times, they have a sign asking small parties to sit at small tables. Plenty of parking.They offer lots of other types of sandwiches. In fact, cheesesteak only takes up one line in the menu but I suspect you can tinker with the ingredients. I did ask later if they could include green peppers and they could.This was a great find.

  Great cheesesteaks on fantastic bread!. I was introduced a few years ago and I think Sputh Philly has the best cheesesteaks with the most meat on soft, yet crusty hoagie rolls.
