Pretty bad. TJ’s is in the food court at the DeSoto Square Mall in a spot previously occupied by a pizza place, the oven doors still part of the backdrop. This looks to be a real low budget operation. The menu, mainly burritos, is handwritten and sloppy. Im not a great fan of Mexican food but they also had a handwritten sign for a grilled hot dog special. I decided on the large dog with a drink for only $2.99.The large hot dog was in an oversized not really a hot dog bun and the dog itself had a mushy texture. It was pretty bad. Normally Id say I just ordered wrong, this is a Mexican Grill and I should have gotten something Mexican, but the entire setup really does not look good. Im also not a fan of everyone having a plastic glove on one hand and trying to be careful to use that hand for the food and the other for doing other things like operating the register.There are better choices in the mall.
