Avid Mexican Foodie. Love this place. Staff is always friendly and prompt. The food is authentic mexican. Used to go to La Fiesta before the remodel and it was good, but afterwards, the place didn’t have the same vibe anymore and the food was lacking. I would recommend Maria Bonita any day for that authentic mexican atmosphere and food. For you first timers out there, try the lunch specials during the week. The food is delicious, the portions are filling and the prices are oustanding.

Best Around. This is my favorite place to visit in the area. Great drink prices, great food especially the Cuban menu and a great staff. Sitting at the bar is the place to be!

Saturday. They have great food, just the servers don’t have time for the customers…even when there are only a few.

Mi favorito!. Regardless of the fact I live in Jacksonville Fl, it’s been 8 years and counting for how long I’ve been dedicated to this amazing and authentic Cuban/Mexican restaurant. What’s even better is that throughout those 8 years familiar faces still happily work there which says a lot about a restaurant. The owner is a very nice man and is always willing to chat with customers. Some recommendations for newbies are..the flautas, tostones, tamales, almost everything from the Cuban section of the menu is amazing and rare to find especially in Daytona. I really appreciate the pico de gallo style salsa it’s a very refreshing change from the soupy salsa most restaurants have. This restaurant definitely has a special place in my heart!

Not bad, just not the best. I’ve been here a couple of times and have never had a bad meal. However, La Fiesta is close by and is consistently better for the same price. Unfortunately, given the close proximity I’d go to La Fiesta 10 times out of 10. For someone looking to stay in this area though, MB is still a solid option for decent Mexican food.

Ropa Vieja. I enjoy their ropa vieja. It doesn’t taste fully authentic, but not many places serve this dish. For Mexican food and margaritas, I prefer La Fiesta.
