Disappointed. For many, many years Deli Lane was our favorite place to eat. However, in the last several years, on dozens of occasions, we have been continually disappointed. Poor service. Mediocre to poor food. The last time we were there, about a week ago, my wife had a Thai Salad that could have been made by a first-grader – just a bunch of lettuce with a trace of tomatoes. It was disappointing and when we complained to the waitress, she just brought us the check. Deli Lane used to be a great place to eat. We always took our out-of-town guest there to eat. Not anymore. Perhaps they have decided that just selling beer and drinks is their business and have just let the food business slip into the mud. We have crossed Deli Lane off our list. We gave it more than a fair chance but they appear to become worse rather than better over recent years. Very sad.25 Jun, 2011Jury out. We have gone to Deli Lane for about 20 years and have enjoyed it’s great food and outstanding service over all those years. However, something has happen recently and the food is not nearly as good and the service mediocre. We will try it one more time but if things are not much better we will cross it off our list.

The service was terrible, with both of us repeatedly having to leave the table to find a server. The eggs were overcooked, then undercooked, and then we just gave up and wanted to leave. It took forever to even get a check! there were no managers at all! I guess this place doesn’t think it needs to keep customers.
Food is excellent and service is consistently good. Try the california quesadilla or chicken wings. Also great for take out.
