This restaurant is crowded and it has bad service the food was horrible I had ceviche mixto and it was raw they didn’t let it sit long enough to cook in the lime and the yuca was bad dry
Not good. Too crowded quality suffers, I ordered a common dish and received something totally wrong. They serve rock hard bread with frozen butter, and the PESCADO AL AJILLO I ordered was covered in sauce with two tiny pieces of fish. I posted a picture you could barely see the fish
Fresh and Delicious.. The Tacu Tacu is delicious, made with very tender beef. All the fish dishes are fresh and delicious.
Meh.Try a different dish.. I’ve only tried the Ceviche here. Being a Peruvian restaurant, this should be close to perfection and it was the whole opposite. It was tasteless. The waitresses are really nice here though and the service was great, too bad the food didn’t meet my expectations. I eat Ceviche all the time and this is at the bottom of the list in quality and flavor. If you go to this restaurant, order something else!
Best Peruvian Food!. I have been going to El Chalan for years, it is a fantastic restaurant with great food. My favorites are the Jalea de Pescado, Lomo Saltado, and the ceviche. It is a restaurant that in all of the years I’ve been going the food has never lost its quality and taste.
Great food fast!. We went in a saturday afternoon and sat right away. The food was on the table after 5-7 min after ordering it. The service is not great but they are not rude. Thi place was just really busy . But as good foodiy knows, u gotta bargain something and in this case, better service than food quality. Cebiche is the best I ever had! (and i’ve had!)the Chicharron de pescado…amazing! basically fish sticks but they were juicy and very tasty. DEFFENETLY WILL BE CRAVING THAT SOON. tHE PLACE IS VERY SMALL BUT NOT UNCOMFORTABLE. wE REALLY ENJOYED IT AND WILL B BAK THERE.
Very good restaurant. One of the best peruvian food in Miami, good portions, reasonable prices, fast service, polite colombian waitress and very nice peruvian manager.please try the cebiche, and if you wants the best fish chunks lighted breaded with fried yuca and salad, then you have to try the Jalea de Pescado. believe me any dish is very good, you will not be dissapointed.
