A great restaurant. Sardines, Bacalao (cod fish), Octopus and the dessert (Delicia de Fatima). Great meal with excellent friendly service.
Worst Valentine’s ever, thanks Old Lisbon!. Waited 30 minutes despite having reservations. Finally sat down, took 25 minutes for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink (would’ve taken longer had my girlfriend not given the waitress a face). Wine tasted like someone dissolved a bottle of tylenol in it. Food was mediocre. I’m far from cheap but $39.99 for 3 miniature racks of lamb and potato chips (yes, potato chips) is ridiculous. Waitress never came after serving our food except to bring the bill promptly (thank you). No apology, no service= no tip. The best thing going for that restaurant is a helper named Jaime which was the only nice person in that restaurant. Needless to say I wont be going back, maybe the Old Lisbon in Coral Way is better who knows. With so many choices in S miami, this restaurant better shape up.
Bacalhau com Natas =YUM!. Have visited a few times and cannot bring myself to order something other than the Bacalhau com Natas, paired with the vino verde, it is so delicious! Can’ t wait to go back.
Parrilhada de Mariscos. The seafood was delicious and fresh and the dark-brown sauce just divine. Of course the favorite was the lobster, grill-marks adding a charred flavor that contrasted very well with the soft and delicate inside of the lobster. The scallops were not far behind, sweet and juicy and oh so tender. miamiculinarytours.com
Bare, unattractive look. AC blasting away on a cool Sunday 2/13/11) evening with manager not responding. Prefer Coral way.14 Feb, 2011South Miami disappointing.
Attention was excellent! Food was fantastic and was served fast… Loved the service!
Outstanding. A job well done. What a dining experience should be. Finally a south Miami restaurant with class, great food and service. Highly recommended.
