When I visited last year renovations were taking place and the place looked in disarray.This time it was a different perspective and they were ready for Christmas.Trays of pre-wrapped goods were piled all around the bakery.The line almost came out of the store to get fresh Cuban Bread and other goodies at Breakfast time.Croquetas, Pastelitos, Cuban coffee..oh, my! What to order?One is tempted to order one of each. We settled for the usual, Pastelitos de Carne, de Guayaba, rollos de Queso Crema, Caf con Leche y Colada, fresh squeezed OJ.When we got home, the box didnt last too long.I went first for Colada. A large serving of Strong Cuban Coffee which is served in little shot cups.Then for a Meat Pastry, and to end the Sweet Guava Pastry.Perfect Cuban Breakfast.The place is going through a renovation/construction phase and looks pretty disheveled. That does not stop lines forming to buy pastries, sandwiches, omelette, etcI got a mini pastry sandwich of ham & cheese, a Guava pastelito, and an Orange Juice and a Cortadito. The mini sandwich was the perfect sized bite for a breakfast pastry. Flaky and delicious.I also got a pastel de Guayaba. Hmmmmm! I love these pastries.The OJ was freshly squeezed, not the processed kind.The Cortadito was nice, a mini latte.I would like to visit again once all the construction is finished
