Great Food. Pastazzi in Coral Gables, certainly has got its Italian right! I had set very high expectations and much to my surprise Pastazzi met those lofty heights.Great parking plus, I mean free parking, that is spectacular….Pastazzi is a small, quiet restaurant with a nice, relaxed ambiance. I came with a few close friends and had a great time. They were very personable and efficient with their service throughout the meal.As for the food it was spot on. The Pasta was done perfectly with nicely diced fresh tomatoes and beautiful basil on a nice delightful, crunchy bread and you know what? very fast served…I recommend this restaurant, is a great place to serve at your own taste the Pasta that you really love… or pizza, or Wine or beer, and come on the beer less than two dollars, what more can you ask for…I look forward to my next return to Fratelli Milano and hopefully much more healthier.

Italian? Really?. I’ve read that a bona fide Italian was hired to provide recipes for this newish eatery. Well, you coulda fooled me, as their stuff tastes more Cuban than Como. At first blush, the concept is solid — frozen Italian food that can be bought to be heated up at home, or to be eaten right there, if you fancy. Perfect for the executive on the go, or the harried housewife who doesn’t want to serve outmoded TV dinners. The problem is, the food is just awful. You have to try the lasagna to believe me, if the salt content doesn’t kill you first.Added to the almost dead atmosphere at any hour, especially dinner time, as patrons flock to Deli Lane or the two trattorias (a strategic mistake, especially given Carrabba’s is another option nearby), and this enterprise seems to be a goner in a few months. It’s a shame, as staff and management seem well-meaning.
