I came to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend after initially feeling discouraged from the previous reviews here. The decor inside is beautiful, cozy without feeling cramped and romantic; I felt transformed to a place outside of the shopping center. Our table was impeccable and I often saw the owner making sure the other tables being turned were perfect. The service was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Never again!!!!. The worse experience i had in a restaurant the owner (the lady) was very rude with us we were four couples and the only thing we asked the waiter was to give us a bill for each couple the waiter never said anythinghe start serving us after more than an hour , she came to the table like she want to lecture us that this will be the last time that bills will be made by couples besides a very bad attitude i really recommend her to go and have a training course on how to treat customers her restaurant is not the only one in miami and by the way the food was overpriced service stinks and the food was cold!!!
To summarize has been the worse experience of my life in a restaurant, the owner and his wife were extremely rude and unprofessional, very bad experience, they were lecturing us about the time and ways to arrive to he restaurant, our family finally did not eat, awful experience
It’s a real shame… would have been a solid B. Food was OK, ambience was good, But…. This was our third trip to this restaurant in the last 3 weeks, and will be our last. Convenience was a big factor as we live about 5 minutes away, and every time we have attended, it has been with parties of 6 or 7 people. Rissotto was very good, but very, very pricey ($22+) for rice, eggplants and cheese… The Osso bucco was good, a little tough and again, very pricey ($39), but all that would have been OK if it wasn’t for the rudeness of the owner, making us wait for the entire party of 6 to be present before they would seat us (there were four of us there at the time). The last 2 arrived 10 minutes past the reserved time. A sad business decision, since our table was ready and we would have consumed an appetizer or 2 plus a bottle of wine… again, very pricey ($39 for a bottle of Spanish Alidis) while we waited. Had there been someone at the table or the table needed prepping, I would understand. Yet, we were asked to sit 6 feet from our empty, waiting table while the 2 missing members arrived. They don’t even have a bar, simply a couch. It is a shame because of the convenience factor, but this was our last visit to this restaurant.Why the B rating? Well it is a shopping center restaurant without a valet. Food was very good, but hardly stellar quality. The biggest negative was the owner’s attitude. He, of course, is the owner of the establishment, thus entitled to set his rules and guidelines. Bad business practice and decisions are his prerogative. Me, I am a customer with cash to spend. I get to choose when, where and how I spend it.
