Wings!. This restaurant is a local chain with locations throughout the county that has a special technique for its signature item. While you can get various flavors of wings, you can never go wrong with the Special House Grilled. This is their signature style, and it is a combination of a fried chicken wing that is then grilled. This slight deviation in preparation pays off because the flash-fry provides the outside of the wing with a crisp exterior and the grilling provides it with a smoky and balanced flavor. Throughout the process, the wing is doused in their special sauce and spices that combines flavors that hit every part of the tongue. You get sweetness, some spiciness, tanginess, and saltiness with no one flavor overpowering the other. miamiculinarytours.com
What have I been missing?. This place seems to be the answer. It’s a rather smallish place but big on menu & TV’s for sports. Decent beer selection and very capable staff who remembers & recalls who you are & why you are there.For dinner, my guest & I shared a Caeser salad, Garlic Wings, & blackened dolphin sandwhich. There was plenty of food for 2, and my guest raved about the wings even the next day. Dolphin was spiced very well and moist. The Caeser was well done, good size plate and ended up being devoured like everything else.One really good thing was I asked to speak to the manager and one came over quickly. I had no complaints, just compliments and I though they should know.
Special Grilled Wings = Pure Love. I’m from Pittsburgh, which is a football/wings/burgers/beers kind of town. Miami has an awesome array of international food, but sometimes you just need a basket of wings. I’ve been looking for a good place, and finally found it.Their wings might be the best I’ve had anywhere. The Special Grilled are just unreal. Decent beer selection too, and reasonable prices. Love it.
