This was my first time visiting this establishment. I have bene told numerous times that it was a good place but expensive. When-ever I passed by I could see that the parking lot was usually overflowing.So I finally made it there. Its an unassuming place with a nautical and humorous theme. There is nothing very fancy about it, and I think that lends to having a good time.I was in a party of 4, we were seated quickly for a Friday night.Our waitress arrived and handed out menu’s and gave us time to consider what we would like to drink. I was very impressed with the beer menu. The draft selection is small but eclectic and the bottle/can list is where I found a case for study. The selections are wide ranging. If you are a real beer fan, then this place will be a fun surprise.Dinner started with a fish dip that they deliver to each table. Small containers of a smoked fish spread along with crackers that is rather good. We ordered the appetizer version because. The app version comes with tortilla chips, you may want to ask for more crackers. They just go better.Main course was a Grouper, blackened with a salad and fries. My wife had the stuffed Salmon (crab stuffing).The meals were good, and I did not find the prices overly high as I had heard.The staff was fantastic. Friendly and with a sense of humor. The Fish House is a great place. One dayI’ll venture to the back room to watch one of the bands, Live Music is always appreciated. Other wise I will return just to enjoy some good eats in Miami.
