The staff was friendly from the get go. The restaurant is in a great location. The food was bland and needed more spice. I got the huevos rancheros and they weren’t spicy enough. The food got cold quick but was decent. It needed more seasoning. I enjoyed my time there but wasn’t blown away.
This place has finally hit its groove, food wise. Been coming here for years. Lately most everything we have ordered has been better than decent. Nothing fancy. But well done.Bar scene skews younger and less Latin than George’s down the road. Much, much better place to meet up or hang.
I had such a wonderful experience there last night. The food was amazing. We went on a Tuesday night and it was half price bottles of wine. We started with the mussels. They were wonderful. For my meal I had the Seared scallops with a braised short rib risotto. It was to die for. My BF had the churraco steak, with mash and spinach. I’m not going to lie. I didn’t know who’s to eat. They both were cooked perfectly. All around amazing dinning experience.
