Excellent dining experience! Grand Marnier Souffle wow!
The star of the meal was the Chocolate Souffl, Chocolate Bon Bon, an absolute work of art that kept bombarding the mouth with explosions of pure chocolate with each bite. It was served with Crme Anglaise and Chocolate Ganache, adding more decadence to this dessert. miamiculinarytours.com

Disappointment times two. I visited two chefs for the second time about 4 months apart. The first time was a disappointment, we decided two give them the benefit of the doubt because the location is good for us. Great mistake. Food remains too salty, too expensive for the quality. Service with the exception of Carlos was outrightously rude. It felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us. Carlos on the other hand was not our waiter but he came to the table and was very gracious and accommodating. Will never come back
Pleasurable Experience. Recently, my mother-in-law was visiting from out of town and wanted to participate in Miami Spice. My husband and I decided to take her to try Two Chefs and were very pleased with our selection. The menu at the restaurant changes regularly. During our visit, we had several selections that were both on and off the Miami Spice menu. One of the more memorable appetizers was a seafood salad wrapped in thin sliced of daikon, which was delicious. I also ordered the drink special at the time, which was the Harvey Wallbanger. It was very tasty, but also very strong, so a note of caution if you have a low tolerance for alcohol. For entrees, I had the crispy salmon (which was substituted for the trout that they ran out of). It was okay. The star entree was the Coq Au Vin, which my mother-in-law ordered, which was rich and delicious. For desert, two of us had the souffles – chocolate and Grand Marnier. They were decadent and cooked to PERFECTION. We really enjoyed this restaurant and thought that it was a great place to take an out-of-town guest. The dining room was somewhat darker than I typically enjoy, but the overall ambiance was pleasant. The prices at Two Chefs are a little higher than what we typically are used to, but feel that we got what we paid for. The chefs use fresh, high quality ingredients. We will definitely return for a special occasion or if we have a reason to splurge in the future.
High Hopes. After reading many wonderful reviews about Two Chefs, I couldn’t wait to try out this restaurant. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. Service was exceptional and Two Chefs boasts a delightful wine list. My meal… not so much. I started off with beef carpaccio. The meat was perfectly tender, but overseasoned with rosemary and truffle oil. Who would ever have thought too much truffle would be a bad thing? In this case, it was. A gorganzola croquette was placed smack in the center of the plate. It tasted terrible (bland and mushy) and added absolutely nothing to the carpaccio. Now to the Coq au Vin. The chicken was cooked to perfection – juicy, succulent and falling off the bone – but the dish was LOADED with pancetta. So much so, it left a greasy finish on the palatte. The bacon flavor completely over powered everything else that would have been delicious. A good merlot helped cut through the grease, but it was disappointing none the less. Dessert was the highlight of my meal – an absolutely flawless chocolate souffle served with both chocolate ganache and vanilla cream sauce. I wouldn’t go back to Two Chefs for dinner, but I’d definitely go back for dessert!
1st visit!. Absolutely fabulous place. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly and accomodating staff. Every new dish, more delicious than the previous one. The boneless pork, crusted w/gorgonzola cheese was juciy and tasty, the grilled proscuitto wrapped asparagus was very well cooked and tender and the dessert souffl is fabulous and there are several to choose from. My current favorite is the Bailey’s & cream. The only bad part is you can’t eat them all at once. Looking forward to my next visit.
