Great place. We stopped by and were warmly greeted and seated. I had one of the daily specials, a chicken cutlet on a hoagie roll, basically a variant of a Chicken Parmesan Hero with fries and coleslaw. It was very good. My wife tried the Spaghetti and Homemade Meatballs, Salad and Bread. The chef made the honey mustard salad dressing to order and my wife loved it. She also loved her meal. Friendly service, everything was clean and there were many regulars.

Yum is the only acceptable word!. Good diner food is a passion; growing up in New Jersey will do that. Although able to forswear the mall hair, the desire for a great diner meal has remains. In this respect, you won’t be disappointed in the Breakfast & Lunch Nook! The place is moderately small, but well staffed. Painted chickens on the wall made me happy and feel like this little family-owned place was decorated by them as well. I had the hot open roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn on the side. At the first bite, I sighed in delight and happiness! The corn was fresh and tender, and the sandwich and mashers were out of this world. My friend had the spaghetti and meatballs with a roll and a side salad (iceberg-ly uninteresting, but fresh)–served hot, delicious, in a substantial portion and the meatballs were exceptional! The highlight was the homemade apple pie la mode–a slab worthy of the name slab, with cinnamon baked onto the light, flaky crust, and a generous amount of vanilla ice cream along side. Our server was a delight (and she made me eat my veggies!), and almost all of the customers that came in were greeted by name, and some with hugs. Friendly, genuine and delicious. And worth every inexpensive penny! A wonderful find!CASH ONLY!Closed Monday. Hands down, the best place in spring hill for breakfast. I drive all the way across town and pass numerous breakfast places to go here. Prices are reasonablen food is great and the wait staff is awesome.
