Tried Carmelas this evening after a neighbor recommended it. It was absolutely fabulous! I thought I was in Little Italy! Crust of pizza was perfect, taste to die for!
Tasty pizza in a ideal location. Pizza is not bad at all for a Florida pie. Great tasting crust and stretchy cheese. Note: A regular gas pizza oven inclosed in a brink housing does not make it a brick oven. People will make notice of this. But again, A very good pie.Note to Reviewer Heather down below: It’s funny to me how you reviewed two different pizza restaurants, Carmelas and Gigi’s, Have the same exact order, Pizza and bake ziti, on the SAME EXACT DAY and give Gigi’s a bad review and Carmelas a good review. As members we give honest reviews to help people make a decision where to dine. You didn’t do any good favors for Carmela’s Pizza, people like myself notice your intentions.

Try Grandmas pizza. It is awesome. Service was great
Disappointing. Stopped here to try this place out. I ordered a slice of pizza and a Chicken Parm sub. The pizza tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. It was dry and tasteless. The chicken in the sub was burnt to a crisp. This food should never have been served to anyone. Service was horrible and the waitresses were more interested in talking to each other than waiting on the few customers in the place. Don’t eat here if you want a decent meal.
