I wish I could give it zero stars. This place used to be good but not anymore. The restaurant nickels and dimes you to death. You ask for lemon in your water .50, better check your bill for anything extra they add on including a gratuity without informing you. The portions are quite small and god forbid you complain about anything because the owner will cuss you out and make a scene. Why go here with so many other fabulous choices in the area. Save yourself the trouble and possible rant.
Dianne & Nancy @ East Ocean Bistro. What a great ‘find’, in between drs appointments Monday, 13 Oct. we arrived around 12:30, not too busy & the primary wait person was someone I recognized from another restaurant who had given great service & she outdid herself again. Giselle was knowledgeable, made excellent suggestions & our lunch experience had us planning our next girls lunch. We both got turkey on croissants one off the special menu that had apple, maple mayo & the other off regular menu, with cherry mayo (they did charge extra for a croissant instead of multi grain bread-although it was only $1. It seemed a bit silly since other than a different mayo the sandwiches were the same but I was told there would be the extra charge). The sandwiches were stacked high with fresh roast turkey & even cut in half had trouble finishing half! They had Brie, turkey, lettuce, tomato & onions. Choice of side were side salad, freshly cut French fries & were generous & delicious. The menu offered lots of lunch choices, plus a specials menu. Lunch ran $18. For 2. Well worth the money. Desserts were offered We chose Creme brle at $6. & chocolate cake with ganache filling $7. I love vanilla creme brle but I found it had a different flavor, my friend loved the chocolate. All in all we will go back & will try dinner there also. It was reminiscent of a nice bistro in France or Belguim, beautiful cherrywood, wine ‘cellar’ tables, 1/2 table half booth, lots of tables for 2, booths, tables can be joined. Definitely worth your time & money. 5*’s.
I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in Paris, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, and New Orleans, and the food here is as good if not superior to most of those places. Every sauce from cherry mayonaise to lemon garlic aioli, and dressing from champagne infused vanilla bean vinaigrette, ceasar, and sherry vinaigrette are homenade and you can taste the quality. Best duck confit in town and crabcakes that rival the best I’ve had in Baltimore. Hands down the freshest and most perfectly cooked fishes and catches of the day. Great knowledgeable servers, a welcoming hostess, fun bartenders, and relaxing intimate ambience. Very affordable prices including a three course prix fix early bird menu that’s second to none, homemade desserts, martini menu, and a handpicked by the chef wine list. Best food and service in Martin and St. Lucie counties combined. Stuart’s best kept secret for the last 8 years. I guarantee you will not have a bad meal here.
