Garlic knots…… OM NOM NOM. Oh, and pizza too.. Luna’s is somewhat of an institution on the Treasure Coast, and with good reason. They’ve been serving up some pretty damn good Italian eats for as long as I’ve lived down here, and for quite a while before that. My only three complaints against this place are either miniscule or understandable. One, they are pricier than most pizza places. (but the food is better, quality and quantity) Two, the food takes longer to get from the kitchen to the consumer. (again, this is probably because its nuclear good) Three, there can be quite a wait during peak hours (apparently, I’m not the only one that appreciates good food) On to the good news; I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here on about two dozen visits spread over the last decade. That kind of consistency is a rarity these days. The pizza, both new york style and thick crust, is always good, with a flavorful sauce and smooth cheese. If you like toppings, they generally give you your money’s worth. To be honest though, I would still come here if all they served is their garlic knots. They are so good, they enable you to divide by zero. A strong but not overpowering garlic butter, a healthy dose of cheese on top, and the dough is allways fresh…… why are you still reading this? Get to Luna’s and order a dozen knots, already!
Fantastic pizza. We went for a few drinks in downtown stuart a few Fridays ago when we stumbled upon this place. It’s cozy and very friendly. We ordered just a regular pizza and it fed 6 of us. The pizza was great. Very cheesy and cooked just right. Definitely going back next Friday!
Been there a few times and am always happy with the pizza. Nicely seasoned sauce!
Service and Food – Sub-Standard. Went to Luna’s for lunch with my husband. I ordered pizza and my husband ordered chicken cutlet parmigiana. When we received our food- my pizza was old- tasted like yesterdays pizza- the crust was like cardboard.. My husbands order was wrong as they brought him eggplant instead of chicken.
Great slices of pizza. Sat outside and enjoyed the day. Highly recommend the slices!
Best pizza in town. Calamari and lasagna were fabulous! Cousins visiting from Atlanta ( big time travelers) said it was the best pizza they had ever had. Love being able to sit outside and order pizza by the slice or garlic knots when I don’t want ‘real dining’.
Fair at best. Pizza was fair at best, Garlic knots were grease. The waitress had an attitude. Would not return.
