Pizza is really good. Place is very small and definitely cannot accomodate large groups. Not a very warm welcome when entering. I would go back for the pizza or the italian beef, but I would definitely take out.
Fantastic Food/Service. My family has been dining at Pusateri’s for over 5 years now. The food is always consistent – REAL chicago style pizza and REAL sausage, which is found nowhere else. I was surprised to read someone feeling unwelcome. The owner always makes a point of talking to everyone (when she’s not struggling to answer phones, wait table, etc.) and is quite a jokester actually. She even gives the kids free brownies or holiday treats. so, that said, if someone isn’t feeling welcome, I’d almost have to say….maybe there’s a reason they aren’t happy to see you??? Fridays are busy and it can be a stressful place, too small and they have almost too much business. But, I really hate to see someone nail that lady when she is always so on top of things and usually makes everyone laugh and talk about Chicago stories. This is a real family owned place to go, meet people and, of course, get totally hooked on that pizza and beefs! Oh and don’t forget the dogs. Can’t ever decide what to eat!
Pizza and Dogs. The pizza is by far my favorite. The chicago hot dog is also a favorite. I really love the food here and its a shame I don’t go more. I will probably be carrying out only if I do dine here (cause I really do love the food). I am a business owner therefore customer service is an important matter to me. Whenever I have dined in at Pusateri’s I have always felt such an uncomfortable, ungrateful get outta here kinda vibe being given off by the staff. I have had a pleasant young girl and a young man who wait on us from time to time. The owner is extremly stressed out looking ALL the time. I mean hey if your busy thats a good thing right??? It should be anyway! I feel like we are more of a bother dining there than a welcomed guest. Its a shame I can’t have my favorite pizza more often and its a shame I can’t recommend it to people in fear that they will get treated the same way as I have been treated. I have stopped brining friends and family to the restaurant due to this problem. I will tell the owner this and I pray that she reads this- A SMILE DOESN’T COST A THING! also, NEVER LET EM SEE YOU SWEAT! Be grateful you have a full dining room and encourage your staff to smile more and be grateful because at the end of the day it is the patrons who are paying YOUR paycheck!!!!!other than that you make a darn good pizza 🙂 just thought you’d like to know…
The garlic bread absolutely sucked and their pizza was mediocre at best.
AL CAPONE EATS HERE. CHICAGO style all the way…Beefs ~ Hot dogs ~ Pizza…cut in squares!Just like back home….manja
$35.00 for two medium pizzas to go! Expensive but pretty good.Bring your credit cards and a Brinks armoured truck to eat there.
I’m from Chicago and every time I go I think I’m back in Illinois! Greatest thin crust pizza around. Beef and sausage sandwiches too! Forget that NYC crap -this pizza is the best. Construction right now on the street a pain in the butt, but well worth the effort to get there.
